Rjukan is in southern Norway, 170 km west of Oslo, 370km east of Stavanger. Rjukan is located in a deep valey on the main No' 37 road. There are over 100 plus ice climbing routes, so there's plenty for everbody. Norway's highest Mountain Gaustatoppen 1881m ( 6,113ft ) is only a few miles away. You can do down hill skiing, cross-country skiing,and dog-sleding.The famous heavey waterVemork Hydroelectric Power Station is in the valley, and is worth a visit. ( Heroes of telemark )
